NIA and NHLBI Entrepreneur Workshop Series: Licensing and Partnering Agreements
Licensing and partnering are some of the most important transactions for a startup. These business transactions range from licensing of Intellectual Property from a university to out-licensing startup IP to another company to forming a partnership with a strategic partner. These agreements can be complex. Although having good legal counsel is important for these transactions, the management team must understand the key terms of the agreement, their short-term and long-term financial and strategic impact, how to align incentives with the other party, and the keys to successful negotiation.

Join us on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 3 p.m. ET for a Liscensing and Partnershing workshop, the next session in the Entrepreneur Workshop Series co-hosted by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) Office of Small Business Research (OSBR) and the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) Small Business Program.

In this workshop, participants will learn about and discuss various aspects of licensing and partnering and gain insights from our experienced panel of speakers.
